Reserve a place
It takes 4 to 12 weeks. Here is exactly what happens in that time.
We could hold stock and ship tomorrow. That would mean guessing the quantity a year out, discounting whatever we guessed wrong, and building to a price that survives the discount. We would rather build once, properly, for people who asked.

Pattern, dimensions and hardware fixed. Nothing changes after this point.

First samples cut and corrected. The bag you reserved is the bag that was signed off.

Materials in
Matte shell, ballistic base and the welded waterproof liner. The liner is the slow part: welded seams cannot be rushed and cannot be repaired.

Sewn in one run, not spread across months. Every load point bartacked and counted.

Inspected
Third-party inspection before anything leaves the factory. Zips cycled, seams loaded, liner pressure-tested.

In freight
Air for the first tranche so the wait ends sooner, sea for the rest. Customs is the part nobody can promise to the day.
What the wait is actually buying
A numbered run of 150
Not a soft-launch quantity that quietly becomes a permanent line. 150 bags, each one numbered, and when they are gone the next run is a different run.
A liner that is welded, not sewn
The waterproof liner has no stitching in the water path, so there is nothing to leak through. It lifts out on two clips to be rinsed and hung. It is the slowest part of the build and the reason the bag still works in year three.
Nothing owed until it is real
No card is taken today. When the run is confirmed you get a deposit link before anyone outside this list, and you can let the reservation go at any point without saying why.
Hold a place
Three fields. We will write when there is something worth writing about — the material lot, the line, the ship date. Not before.
The awkward questions
- Am I paying now?
- No. Reserving takes no card and costs nothing. A deposit link goes out only once the run is confirmed, and you can ignore it.
- What if the date moves?
- You hear it from us before you hear it anywhere else, and you can cancel for a full refund at any point before dispatch. A date that slips and stays quiet is how trust goes.
- Why 4 to 12 weeks and not a date?
- Because freight and customs are the honest variables. We would rather give you the true range than a comfortable date we cannot keep.
- What happens to my email?
- It sits in our own system. We write about this run and the ones after it. No trade, no sale, no list-swapping, and one click stops it permanently.
- What if I change my mind?
- Reply to any email we send and the reservation is gone. No form, no reason needed.
